Most unusually, it has an extra low Db/C# on the RH lower cluster and an ergonomic, well-designed back cluster for the low D Db/C# and C operated by the thumb. There is also a left-hand low D. This key configuration makes many difficult passages more facile.

The build is excellent with many anchored posts and adjusting screws on the large pads. There are many long rod guides to ensure they stay in alignment. and the general intonation is very accurate. Overall a high-spec bass clarinet at a modest price to suit professionals and amateur players alike.
