“The BC01 is a robust, hand-tuned and finished Bass set up by me (as all our clarinets are) . The bass goes down to ‘low-C’ and has a beautiful, resonant tone. It has a very efficient light action ‘low-D’ mechanism and a special feature of long rod guides to prevent any unwanted movement. It comes in a very good case with backpack-style straps. It will not crack or warp in extreme climates and is suitable for both students and professional use. The most recent models feature an advanced roller system for the lowest 3 semitones controlled by the right hand thumb. I designed this in conjunction with the team at the factory. I think it is a mechanism worthy of basses costing thousands more.”
